The Groanbox Boys (USA), Kent Duchaine (USA), Sherman Robertson (USA), Paul Lamb (UK) Oliver Darling Band (UK), Khalif Wailin' Walter (USA), The Backbones (NL) and Ramon Goose (UK) will be amongst those visiting ''bbc' Partner Schools'

Partner schools already for the 2008-9 season include -

St Anne's Primary (Keighley), Haworth Primary (Bronteland),  Shibden Head Primary (Queensbury), Baildon C. of E. Primary (Baildon), St. Anthony's Primary (Clayton), Russell Hall Primary (Queensbury) and Foxhill Primary (Queensbury)

Guy Tortora (USA) will visit Glenaire Primary School on 4th July!

 'Blues in Schools' is supported by Keighley Town Council.

 Mojo Buford  (USA) and his band entertained Y3, Y4 and Y5 at Russell Hall School, Queensbury on 18th April.

The Boo Boo Davis Band (with an 11 year-old 'stand-in' drummer!) at Foxhill Primary School on 22nd March.

Michael Roach and Johnny Mars (USA) entertained the pupils of Baildon C.of.E Primary School on 22nd February.

The John O'Leary  Band visited St Anne's School, Keighley on Friday 25th January 2008.

Memo Gonzales and  the Bluescasters kicked off our 2007 programme of 'Blues-in-Schools' with a visit to St Anthony's School, Clayton on 7th September. With pupils dancing, screaming and clapping-along bassist Ercan said -

"Now I know how the Beatles felt"

Thursday 13th saw them entertain children and staff from the three Queensbury Partnership Primary Schools. Everybody was up 'shakin''.
