a 'non-profit organisation', bronte blues club ( 'the bbc') has brought top national and international blues musicians to the 'aire delta' in a series of school workshops and friday night concerts since september 2007.

Top UK blues pianist, Bob Hall, (seen here with Mojo Buford at 'the bbc') is currently in the USA arranging to bring a top US Bluesman to Laycock. in 2009..more details later

a  generous grant from keighley town council's 'oak fund' will support our 'blues in schools' programme for the current season. (see 'blues in schools' page)

 

 

 

Our 'young people's co-ordinator', heidi  worked with her sister paula to produce seven giant 'blues legends' wall-hangings to set the atmosphere on 'blues nights'.

bbc members , overwhelmingly, elected john lee hooker to  'heidi's hall of fame' . here's a picture (by idris) of heidi 'unveiling it' on 21st december.
