Following the the footsteps of 24 Pesos in 2011, the Groove-A-Matics won the 'Battle of the Blues Bands' and went on to represent the UK at the Harvest Time Blues and Jazz Festival in Canada in 2012.

capture a quite remarkable night at 'the bbc'. It was a unique
fusion of audience and artists that led one member to judge it the best live
concert he had ever attended in 40 years as a music fan- displacing Little
Richard/ Jerry Lee Lewis in 1962!
Another member (a Yorkshireman, at that) declared loudly that he would have paid £10 just to hear 'I'd Rather Go Blind'.
